Digital Masterclasses 2023

From Hong Kong to Milan digitally! 

On the 9 August 2023, Lia ran her second masterclass for a group of key culture, tourism and events leaders of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority of Hong Kong. The afternoon-long interactive session was organised by Leeds University  within the framework of the Executive Leadership Programme in the Arts and Cultural Industries of the Kowloon Authority. Sessions were focused on learning to use qualitative mapping techniques to generate proposals for the cultural and community use of two large public spaces located in the centre of this mega cultural quarter, and currently underused.

Also in 2023 Lia started a collaboration with the Politecnico of Milan, and the Department of Design of the Faculty of Architecture. On the 16 November she shared the digital stage with Francesco Panella (EU data expert and urban cultural impacts researcher) for an introductory lecture on place identity mapping. The lecture was followed by a debate with the students of the Communication Design for the Territory course, cohosted by Prof. Daniela Calabi and the departmental team. http://www.comunicazionedelterritorio.it/site/
